While working as an Asset Manager for Downey Savings, Mr. Caswell learned what it’s like to be on the “inside” of the REO business and what was really important to both the Asset Manager and the Bank.
Mr. Caswell knows finding an experienced real estate agent to handle your REO properties is sometimes a challenge in itself. He believes it would be to your advantage to have a Realtor with Asset Manager experience in the field working along with your asset manager in the office. Having prior REO sales experience on the “outside” was an asset to the REO department in finding the right real estate agent for the job of selling the REO’s for the department.
Mr. Caswell has the experience in coordinating with other real estate agents, escrow officers, appraisers and title companies to manage each property from opening of escrow to the close.
